John is actually getting more and more interesting. For the first time last night, I noted the parallels between "John" and "Deadwood." For some reason, it was blatantly obvious to me, just sitting back and watching the show, whereas before, I had not seen any similarities at all. The writing is getting better. Something is changing. I hope it's changing for the best.
How can this show possibly have a second season???? I'm sure that David Milch has thought about it, and lost quite a bit of sleep over it.....those paychecks from HBO and BMI (or perhaps ASCAP) are too good to not think about....
