I just finished my first time through. Al scrubbing the whores blood off his office floor. ( I wept )
all that little stories were nicely handled.

oh gawd i wanted to see Cy kill Hurst. He was so angry.

anyway, isIt was last night and I'm already going through separation anxiety.
That is until I get all the seasons on DVD.

Any hub-bub around that they will bring it back?
didn't they do that with the sopranos?

They killed it in lieu of John From Cincinnati. (which sucked and got axed immediately) Right after the last season ended they *promised* 2 or 3 Deadwood HBO movies but I highly doubt they'd corral all the actors at this point.

Yeah that John thing sucked. I tried watching it but really. So they got rid of Carnivale, which I loved
Now Deadwood for some sucky show <sigh>

          I liked *john*

          But I'm weird...

I loved the way the dialogue flowed like in Deadwood.

I loved seeing all the actors again.

I loved how weird it was.

Oh yeah, they didn't pick it back up.

HBO is dead, to be honest.

I don't think "John" got a fair shake in any of this. I thought that show had some amazing potential. There was so much humor in it. At least I got some big belly laughs in while it played through it's one and only season.....
I think Dave Milch got a little too scatterbrained a few too many times and, in spite of "Deadwood" - in all of it's brilliance - my hunch is that HBO got fed up with the guy. Now that "John" is gone and never coming back, it would benefit everyone to bring back "Deadwood" - even if it was one of their more expensive productions. (It showed).
